Namer
IV
The
Namer IV is a 6 wheeled light vehicle built upon the chassis of the Caracal
which is a joint product of the European NEXTER and Israeli MANTAK
manufacturers.
The
Namer IV serves in various roles: in the Mobile Infantry it serves as the main
anti-armour gun platform and is fast enough to support other MI elements in
battle.
The
vehicle itself is reasonably well protected even against heavier anti-tank guns
and is equipped with a wide array of white-noise smoke launchers and the Kippat
defence system.
Its
main gun is the 105mm Rheinmetall-RAFAEL railgun, which has both good armour
penetration capabilities and a quick fire mode that makes the Namer so
versatile.
